HOPE is a social enterprise dedicated to training and employing Black women in the fashion industry through skill-building and hands-on experience.

Empowering Black Women in Fashion
Creating pathways and breaking down the barriers that prevent Black women from excelling in their careers.

Our Mission
HOPE is here to provide the tools Black women need to acquire living wage jobs and break through the systemic barriers in our society. By removing employment barriers and fostering a community of support, we’re working to reshape the industry with more inclusive representation and opportunity.

What We Do
We connect talented Black women with careers in fashion, providing resources and real-world experience in design, production, retail, and more. We offer hands-on training, mentorship, and job opportunities to equip our participants with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in a competitive industry.

Why It Matters
Black women have the highest unemployment rate across all industries. We believe in a future where the fashion industry reflects the diversity, talent, and perspective of those who shape it. Investing in Black women means enriching the industry with unique voices and styles while creating lasting social impact.
“When we lift each other up, we build a foundation strong enough for all of us to rise.”
Helping Our People Elevate is our mission, and it extends beyond job training—we offer comprehensive support in all aspects of life. From mental health counseling and personal finance education to legal assistance, we ensure our participants are fully supported as they work toward success. By addressing both professional and personal needs, we’re creating opportunities that empower women not only to thrive in their careers but also to build a foundation for lifelong stability and growth.
